Seminar “Experiments of History. Mobility. Migrations. Culture”24 January 2019, Sofia (Bulgaria)

Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with the Bulgarian Academy of science.
In the framework of the seminar, researchers from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia considered the current political and socio-economic problems of South-eastern Europe.

Currently, there are many issues in the region that require a political solution. This includes issues related to the ethnic and socio-political identification of the peoples inhabiting the region. There is an ethnization of politics and the politicization of ethnicity.
The event was organized jointly with the Ethnographic Museum of the Library of the Academy of Sciences.
