The ICSS mission is to build, strengthen and deepen ties between science and society.
The function of the Institute is to promote the dissemination of current scientific knowledge by all available means.
The organization is intended to create platforms for expressing scientific opinions, including dissenting ones. In principle, ICSS exists outside institutional and bureaucratic interests that can slow down or even destroy scientific research.
Sometimes important discoveries, and even the latest news about entire scientific branches, are not reported to the general public due to political, financial and marketing considerations. At the same time, well-supported projects, as a rule, are regularly produced by the so-called “mainstream.” This trend leads to the fact that the public does not receive sufficient information about the opinions and conclusions of various scientists and therefore loses the opportunity to form objective conclusions.
ICSS activities will result in the creation of platforms for direct and immediate communication between science and society.
